3 February 2026Annual Report PAACLA Indonesia 2025
PAACLA Indonesia positions itself as a multi-stakeholder collaboration platform that bridges national policies, business practices, and community realities in efforts to eliminate child labour in the agricultural sector. Throughout 2025, PAACLA Indonesia will implement a range of initiatives at the national, provincial, district, and village levels, with a strong focus on strengthening systems and practices that have a direct impact on children.
At the national level, PAACLA Indonesia promotes policy strengthening and cross-stakeholder coordination through policy dialogues, as well as the development and reinforcement of technical guidelines on the elimination of child labour in the agricultural sector. At the business and supply chain levels, PAACLA Indonesia supports companies and supply chain partners in implementing responsible labour practices, including the strengthening of child labour monitoring and remediation systems.
At the site level, PAACLA Indonesia reinforces a village-based approach through the development of child labour monitoring and remediation systems integrated with local mechanisms, alongside child rights restoration efforts implemented in Jember Regency, East Lombok Regency, and North Lombok Regency. Based on these initiatives, PAACLA Indonesia recognizes that eliminating child labour in the agricultural sector requires more than normative commitments and policy frameworks alone. Structural challenges such as poverty, limited access to education, and supply chain complexity must be addressed through integrated, consistent, and impact-oriented actions.
This report captures PAACLA Indonesia’s efforts throughout 2025 to drive the transition from commitment to action and from policy to real, measurable impact for children in the agricultural sector.
